Autumn Days

Autumn is well on its way and I think we have all seen enough rain over the last week to last a while. Yesterday we were lucky enough to have some beautiful sunshine for my first shoot with photographer Claudia Bridge-Parkin, who I am very excited to be working with on my blog. We chose Old Portsmouth for our first shoot with the sea wall being the perfect setting for this Autumn Days post. The Autumn Winter 2012 runway showed that trench coats and ankle boots are going to be a must have of the season with some of my favorite pieces designed by Burberry for their Prorsum collection. On the high street LK Bennett have a number of beautiful trench coats along with Topshop being the place for ankle boots with their huge range to choose from. Anything with studs on and I'm sold!

What I'm wearing: Hobbs Trench Coat, Russell & Bromley studded ankle boots and Fendi handbag.

Somerset House LFW

Somerset House is a fascinatingly elegant venue, perfect for hosting the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend and the best of British designers. Both the East and West wings we're crowded with fashion savvy shoppers looking for the best designer bargains, my sister being one of them bagging some beautiful pieces from Twenty8Twelve. Toni & Guy were on hand for that perfect blow dry with Elizabeth Arden also present discussing all their current make up and beauty tips, and Canon camera had teamed up with Elle Magazine to offer visitors the chance to be on the cover of their October issue! The whole experiene was out-of-this-world and the weather held out giving us a beautiful sunny day.

What I'm wearing: Ralph Lauren Shirt, Zara Tweed Blazer, Part Two Jeans, Jigsaw Clutch and River Island Studded Sipper Shoes.

London Fashion Weekend

Vodafone Fashion Weekend is London's most exclusive designer shopping event, open to the general public twice a year, displaying an array of British designers from Tweny8Twelve to Alice by Temperley. I was incredibly excited to discover that the show I had booked to see at 11am was Alice by Temperley and even more excited to hear that this was the brands first ever runway show. The collection showed a beautiful display of lace dresses and jump suits teamed with this seasons must have structured wool hat, that I will most definitely be investing in. I hope you enjoy these pictures from the show!
